At 17 years old, Thomas Angel, the son of Juan Pablo, one of the most important goalscorers in the history of Colombian football, made his professional debut with Atlético Nacional in a 5-2 win against Pereira.

Ángel came into the game in the 86th minute, when the game was already completely closed in favor of the Antioquia team. Alexandre Guimaraes asked him to play in the shuttle area on the left wing.
There weren’t many balls he touched, but in the one he did, the quality he showed was shown. He tried to connect with his teammates and sleep the game so his team added three points.

Now Thomas, who is about to turn 18, hopes to be taken into account for Nacional’s game against Deportivo Pasto next Tuesday.
