Athletic 2-3 Barcelona Level with three players
Lionel Messi scored two goals in Barcelona’s 3-2 win away at Athletic Club Wednesday evening to jointly move the top in the race for the Pichichi Trophy.

This braces itself against Athletic brings him to nine goals for the campaign, equal with Iago Aspas, Luis Suarez and Gerard Moreno.
Unbelievably, Messi scored just one goal in his first six games of the season, but has since woken up. He has scored four goals in his last four matches, and the only match in which he failed to score was against Huesca, thanks to an incredible showing from Alvaro Fernandez.
