At El Dorado airport they take a Guatemalan extradition request from the United States – Crimes – Justice


While at El Dorado Airport in Bogotá, the Public Prosecution Service arrested a Guatemalan citizen who has an extradition request from the United States to answer in a drug trafficking trial.

He is Harol Orlando Saldaña Natareno, who was at the disposal of the nation’s Office of the Attorney General.

Saldaña is identified as supposedly responsible of shipping tons of narcotics to that North American country.

The foreigner was arrested on December 30, in accordance with the extradition warrant issued by the prosecution.

According to information from authorities, Saldaña Natareno is said to be part of a drug trafficking network supplying cocaine hydrochloride to the Mexican cartels.

Apparently, Much of the cargo left Colombia and was transferred to Guatemala and Mexico. from where their entry and distribution in the United States was coordinated.

For these facts, the Southern District of California is being sued by the court for crimes
related to conspiracy to commit a crime and drug trafficking.

The Office of the Attorney General of the Nation has communicated the arrest to the United States Embassy so that the extradition request can be formalized within the legal deadlines.
