ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 TUF GAMING 12GB GDDR6 photo surfaces

Recently we saw a GeForce RTX 3060 ULTRA photo leak from ASUS, today the ‘regular’ 3060 was spotted on a render, again from ASUS.

That’s right, not 3060 and 3060 ULTRA. NVIDIA could position multiple 3060 SKUs on the market and position itself ahead of the 3060 Ti, 3060 ULTRA and 3070. The ULTRA card would use the now familiar 8nm GA104 GPU, used in the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070; but with a different shader core configuration and probably 12 GB GDDR6. Now the regular 3060, as shown today, probably uses one GA106 Ampere graphics processor and is expected to contain 3584 shader cores. NVIDIA is expected to launch with the 12GB model and later slip silently into a 6GB version. This card could be launched in late January or February.

Unless NVIDIA cancels some 3060 models, the lineup seems to be getting hugely confusing for end users.
