“It’s not worth it to want privacy, but beware, it says confidential information that the New Ideas party deputies candidate list includes people of dubious origins. I call on the prosecutor Raúl Melara to deploy his good offices and investigate what happened, there is a video surveillance system, there are number plates for cars, and the least the health minister should do is distance himself from the event or confirm that members of his private security were the ones who took part, ”the legislator said.

He added that because of the inauguration he has, President Nayib Bukele respects him, but asks him for enough conflict, polarization, sowing and inculcating hatred.

While Schafik Hándal, of the FMLN, said that this country has already traveled that path and was already overcome, “they sow wind, they will reap storms.”

FMLN Deputy Yanci Urbina condemned the attack on her party’s militancy by armed individuals as a clear act of violence.

“This aggression, this brutal armed attack that we forcibly rejected, has resulted in two deaths. I must say that we strongly reject the violence, the hatred promoted by the ruling party towards the political parties. What we have seen is clearly an expression of that order and we also reject the irresponsible statements of the president of the republic, who apparently has no human attention with regard to the individuals and families affected, ”said the MP.

Congressman Norman Quijano, of ARENA, said his party is calling for the facts to be clarified as soon as possible and for the full weight of the law to be applied to the perpetrators, regardless of where the attack comes from.
