Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Broken Facial Animations will be addressed in an upcoming patch

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Face Bug

Ubisoft has updated its official list of ‘Known Issues’ for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is where the development team notices the existing bugs and provides a rough timetable for players to expect to be fixed.

New to the list is “Lip sync / mouth movement during dialogues since 1.1.1”, which will apparently be addressed “in a future update”. For those unaware, the game’s latest patch – version 1.011 on PlayStation platforms – amplified an issue where facial animations disappear during dialogue. It’s a troubling bug to say the least, but at least Ubisoft is in the case.

It’s unclear when the next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch will actually be released, but we do know that the game will get a major update in February, including ‘River Raids’ – a whole new kind of activity. We will certainly learn more about that in the near future.
