Italian actress and journalist Asia Argento accused Rob Cohen, director of the series ‘Fast and Furious’, of sexual assault.
She broke her silence in one of the most controversial claims as part of the MeToo movement.
“At the time I really didn’t know what it was. I woke up naked in his bed in the morning, I didn’t know what had happened, I found out later when I talked to a friend about that substance Cohen had given me to drink. ” Silver told The Corriere della Sera.
The claim is included in her autobiography, ‘Anatomy of a wild heart’.
Cohen has responded to deny the claims and deny the accusation.
“Mr. Cohen categorically denies that Asia Argento’s allegation of assault against him is absolutely false,” said a spokesman.
“When they worked together they had an excellent working relationship and Mr. Cohen considered her a friend, so this 2002 statement is mind-boggling, especially considering what has been reported about her in recent years.”
