Ashley Tisdale ‘never felt pain’ like plantar fasciitis during pregnancy

Ashley Tisdale is the latest celeb to open up about the more painful aspects of pregnancy, and recently shared that her pregnancy-induced plantar fasciitis has caused a level of pain she has never experienced before.

“The worst so far in this pregnancy is my plantar fasciitis,” the 35-year-old “High School Musical” star wrote on her Instagram story Friday. “It literally hurts to just walk on my feet. I have never felt such pain and I hope that once the baby gets here it will stop. “

She added, “I know there could be worse things, but for someone who is constantly on their feet, it can be pretty excruciating.”

Plantar fasciitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the tissue that lines the bottom of your foot connecting your heel bone to your toes. It can cause severe stinging when walking, especially after first waking up or after standing or sitting for too long, according to Mayo Clinic.

After wooing fans about the progression of her unborn child’s nursery, Tisdale began responding to followers who were concerned about her health.

“It’s awful,” she began the clip. “It’s very painful – it hurts to just walk, anywhere, every day. It’s like your arches are starting to collapse because of how much weight is on my body. “

She continued, “I think she weighs seven pounds now and I’ve never worn that before and I’m very small, I’m 5’3″ so yeah, it sure has been painful. I really hope it goes away eventually or when she’s outside of me ”

“If you guys have any suggestions, send me a DM, let me know what to do,” she added.

Tisdale confirmed that she was expecting her first child with husband Christopher French last September.
