Arturo Islas, an activist for the protection and respect of animals Eugenio Derbez, as the comedian was one of the main protagonists in supporting the fact that animals were banned in circuses, thus that several were left unaided or abandoned. Against this background, the producer also cataloged Eugenio Derbez as ignorant. She also invited him help the animals who suffered because of the decision that started from a political issue.
In an interview with First handArturo Islas expressed his displeasure with Eugenio Derbez, because from his point of view, the comedian only cares about the reforms, but not the financial donations needed for the animals rescued from that show.
And it is that with the help of Mr. Tempo, the activist recently rescued an elephant – Big Boy – that was in bad shape after being ‘thrown’ from a circus performance. According to Islas, Eugenio Derbez only occupied the law -It came into effect in 2015- that prohibits animals in circuses from promoting themselves because they have not done something because the animals readjust and have a better life.
“There was a law that prohibited circuses with animals, but there was none that protected those animals; and it involved personalities like Eugenio Derbez speaking out of ignorance ” the activist said.
Faced with this panorama, he asked Eugenio Derbez to change his perspective and “deposit a fair” to help abandoned animals. He even invited him to visit the elephant they had just rescued.
“It’s good for them, Eugenio … they follow their lives. Give us a scholarship as they promoted one law, without promoting another that protects them. Don’t be ignorant, because ignorance is what kills us ”, Arturo Islas lashed out.
So far, Eugenio Derbez has not responded to the allegations. However, he is not the only famous person mentioned by the activist, he also accused Luisito Comunica of promoting himself by talking about animal protection.
