Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero He is hospitalized on the charge of Covid-19. This was reported Thursday evening by the Association of Authors and Composers of Mexico, an entity he chairs.
According to the statement published on Twitter, “Master Armando Manzanero has tested positive for Covid-19 and is being treated in accordance with established medical protocols. We appreciate the concern and affection of the authors and composers, the general public and the media ”.

Manzanero, 85, was the protagonist of a tribute last Friday in Yucatán, his homeland, where they opened a museum dedicated to his work called “Casa Manzanero”.
Also this year he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the latest Billboard Awards.
