One of them went to former referee and now Mexican analyst, Armando Archundia, who tagged the action video about the alleged criminal foul against Motagua goalkeeper Jonathan Rougier.
Archundia used social networks to respond to a fan who asked him via Twitter whether the action should be criminalized.
The veteran Aztec whistler did not ignore the request for his comment because of his experience and assured, “The two persist, not criminal.”
The action between Jonathan Rougier and Edwin RodrĂguez has caused a lot of controversy on social networks, where even the official Motagua page showed that there is an arbitration error.
After hearing the referee analyst’s opinion, many Olympia fans thanked him for taking the time to comment on the action and ensure there was no such mistake.
Nelson Salgado was in charge of leading the game of the classic and the action took place close to where he was, but he never tried to flag the mistake.
