As noted by The 8-bitthe version of ‌iCloud‌ currently in the Microsoft App Store is 11.6.32.0, a downgrade from version 12 that was available yesterday. However, the description for the ‌iCloud‌ app still mentions support for the ‌iCloud‌ Passwords extension.

It is not known why Apple picked up the latest version, but it could be due to problems many users have encountered with the Chrome extension, including two-factor authentication issues when opening websites and the browser extension not working at all.

Apple has released the iCloud Passwords Extension for Google’s Chrome browser on Windows 10 to allow users to access passwords in Chrome generated in Apple’s Safari browser. It also allows ‌‌iCloud‌‌ sync of passwords generated in Chrome, making them available on Apple devices as well.
