Apex Legends Season 9 is Lifeline nerfeline, but it will also buffer the character. For now, it remains to be seen which outweigh the others, but the news from the nerf and buff comes not long after confirmation that a Revenant buff is in the works, and probably during Season 9 as well.
Speaking of the character and Season 9, which starts in May, on Reddit, John Larson, who is working on the game as a Live Balance Designer, confirmed that they will increase the character’s tactical healing rate by 60 percent and the Care Package for guaranteed upgrades. However, this pair of buffs involves the removal of the character’s revival shield.
Of course, depending on your playing style, the buffs can outweigh the grain here, but it’s a pretty substantial grain, but not unexpected.
On the one hand, the 60 percent increase in healing rate is noticeable and substantial. It’s also a much-needed improvement. Although the change to the care package is also badly needed, this does not change the fact that the use of the care package is still very risky, especially in certain parts of the map.
That said, it’s worth noting that all of this could change by the time Season 9 comes out on May 4. And of course nothing could change. Typically, game balance is something that changes constantly, especially in the testing phase, but with Season 9 at less than a month, it’s safe to assume that if changes are made to these buffs and nerf, it won’t be big.
