With 14 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director, Salvador Calvo’s Netflix drama Adú was the frontrunner of the evening.

Other nominees for Best Picture include: Ane Is Missing by David Pérez Sañudo, La boda de Rosa (Rosa’s Wedding) by Icíar Bollaín, The Girls by Pilar Palomero and The People Upstairs by Cesc Gay, aka Sentimental.
