Anthony Quinn Warner donated houses to a friend’s daughter

The woman who got two homes from the Nashville RV bomber Anthony Quinn Warner was the daughter of one of his friends, the attacker’s former attorney said.

Los Angeles-based musician Michelle Swing, 29, became the heart of countless conspiracy theories after she got the double act – including Warner’s own home exactly a month before his Christmas morning.

A lawyer who represented him at the time, Ray Throckmorton III, told The Tennessean that the insane, hate-filled, paranoid loner told him that Swing was just “ a friend’s child. ”

“I remember saying he knew her mother personally,” recalls Throckmorton, who said he “never asked and never asked or made any connection as to why he wanted to do that.”

The initial transfer – from Warner’s childhood home of nearly $ 250,000 in January 2019 – caused a “schism” in the family, leading to a legal battle that his mother, Betty Christine Lane, eventually won, the lawyer said.

Swing passed the deed back to the 85-year-old mother last year.

Warner – a “tech, computer geek” – had fired the attorney before the legal battle was over because he was upset about the way things were going, he recalled.

“He just seemed like he hated life and he hated everyone and everything,” said Throckmorton.

“He was extremely reserved and suspicious and paranoid and suspicious. There was no talking to him. “

Swing – who hasn’t signed the quitclaim transfers – has maintained she didn’t even know Warner gave her his $ 160,000 Antioch home in November. She has declined to discuss their relationship, saying she has been “told to spend everything else on the FBI.”

Throckmorton also represented Warner’s unidentified 64-year-old girlfriend who informed officials about his plans to make bombs in 2019.

“She believed Tony was spying on her, thought he broke into her house at night while she was sleeping,” Throckmorton told The Tennessean.

She believed all kinds of things. We had no way of knowing if that was true, ”he said.

“I understand he never showed her anything. He would just brag or brag about it, ”he said.

Nashville police this week defended their handling of the appeal, saying the vague allegations gave them “no reasonable suspicion to go to a judge” and ask for an injunction.

Warner’s explosive-laden RV damaged 41 buildings in downtown Nashville on Christmas Day, paralyzing telephone lines in several states when he appeared to target an AT&T building he had parked outside.
