A new eclipse sequence could affect the economy starting Nov. 19, 2021, as these moon shape changers begin sweeping through Taurus and Scorpio’s “money signs”. For the coming year, these eclipses will alternate with those on the Gemini / Sagittarius axis, changing trade and community at the same time.
This is the first time we have had Taurus / Scorpio eclipses since November 2012 to October 2014, a time of economic turnaround in the United States and unrest in other parts of the world, such as Greece, Venezuela and Russia.
The first solar eclipse is in Taurus, the sign of finance and material security, and it could be a foretaste of upcoming fiscal reforms. We have our sights set on April 30, 2022, when a Taurus solar eclipse makes close contact with Uranus, the planet of technology and unrest. The world economy could be an important hub.
Is the world ready for a new money system? Well, an earlier Taurus / Scorpio eclipse sequence brought us the euro, which officially began circulating as coins and notes in 2002. As in 2021, this was a year when eclipses also fell on the Gemini / Sagittarius and Taurus / Scorpio axes, shift of global and economic policy.
The next round will certainly bring another wave, and maybe, as we have predicted for several years now, the “internet of economics” will be fully born.
I wish you a happy and healthy 2021.
