Over the weekend, Noel and Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick discovered her Twitter account was being taken over by unknown and hostile forces when hackers started posting about it. Just before 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, the actress’s account began posting a series of offensive messages embedded with racial slurs, with a total of nearly thirty tweets posted over the course of half an hour. However, just after 5:45 PM it appeared to be back to normal with the tweets deleted. Now, three days later, the actress has posted her first tweet since the hack, putting it all on track and revealing which celebrity could get her help before anyone else.
“Well, the nice thing about having my Twitter hacked briefly is people I hadn’t heard of in years contacted me,” Kendrick wrote. So, I think I thank my hacker for a bit of concern, and that he reconnected me with my high school friend James. Cheers … Also shout out to the FIRST person to connect me with someone from Twitter before anyone else did anything useful @THEKIDMERO What a fucking legend. “

Kendrick recently made headlines with her hit HBO Max series Love life, a romantic comedy anthology series, which would debut new episodes weekly, but ended up being released on a much faster timeline due to user demand. While the show didn’t get the best reviews, episodes four, five and six of the series became available on Thursday, June 4, and the remaining four episodes arrived on June 11. According to HBO Max, they decided at the time to release the episodes early because of the positive reactions from fans.

It is very gratifying to see that fans have immediately joined the show and that we are accelerating the release of episodes to meet their demand for more, ”explains Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max. “We are delighted to see Love Life emerge as one of the best performers of all content on Max and we are thrilled to reward viewers who started watching on day one.”
Those fans also seem to be psyched that Kendrick is back on Twitter and in control of her platform again.
