Nintendo’s next free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has now been released. As described earlier, it will include the party event, new reactions, new clothing and seasonal items.
Here’s the full rundown, and when the patch notes are live we’ll share them in the same post.
- Festive event – Feel the heat with the colorful Festivale event full of dancing and flying feathers! On February 15th, dancer Pavé arrives in the square of your island to ring in some confetti and carnival. On the day of the event, you can use your net to catch colorful feathers floating on your island and exchange them for Pavé to receive a passionate dance number in return. Rainbow feathers seem to be a particularly rare sight, so make sure to catch them and trade them with Pavé. Invite friends to your island or visit theirs to join the festivities.
- New comments – If you want to express your enthusiasm for Festivale, you now have a range of new responses to choose from. The Viva Festival Response Set is available for purchase with in-game Bells off the shelf at Nook’s Cranny for a limited time and includes Feelin ‘It, Let’s Go, Viva and Confetti.
- New clothes – Starting February 1, Festivale clothing will be available in the Able Sisters store for a limited time. Now you can get your Festivale groove in style with these fashionable looks!
- Seasonal items – Make sure to keep an eye out for seasonal items at the Nook Stop in Resident Services and through Nook Shopping. Celebrate the sentimental season with chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquets, on sale from February 1 through February 14. Other items related to Groundhog Day and Big Game Celebration will also be available for select periods in January. and February!
