“Transforming a 47-year-old organization with a predominantly political context is not an easy task, it is an arduous task for which I want to put my body, my mind, my capabilities and my commitment,” said the former Minister of Finance. Education.
Regarding receiving his ambitions in the Central Committee, the former Chancellor said he understands that the PLD is a fully “democratic and united” party and that they will make the best decision for the party.
Last week, the PLD left the registration and election process of the members of that organization’s Central Committee open. It also determined the organization of its internal elections.
In this internal election, 110 seats will be elected at the national level from the members of the Central Committee and 190 seats at the local level, which will be elected by the chairpersons of the Base Committee of the political organization, throughout the national territory, as established in the Regulations for this and the new articles of association that were published this week.
