Anderson Cooper’s son who sees him on TV for the first time is super sweet

While the rest of CNN’s country can see CNN’s Anderson Cooper on their TV most evenings, his son, Wyatt Morgan, just got his first peep this week.

The veteran newscaster shared a photo Monday night of his infant son, who turns 1 this month, as he watches dad’s guest host “Jeopardy!”

“Wyatt has never seen me on TV before, and probably won’t be for a long time, but apparently he caught me on @Jeopardy a little bit!” Cooper wrote on Instagram.

He said it was a dream come true to guest the show, pay tribute to the late host Alex Trebek and raise money for Hôpital Albert Schweitzer.

During his two weeks on the show, he will raise money for the organization, a hospital in Haiti that helps residents of Artibonite Valley get medical care.

Cooper shared the news of Wyatt’s birth on April 27 last year, via a surrogate, in a surprise on-air announcement. “He is sweet, soft and healthy, and I am extremely happy,” he said at the time.

“Danger!” previously announced it would have a series of guest hosts after a six-week spell with star candidate Ken Jennings at the helm. Trebek, who had hosted the program for decades, died in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Cooper is no stranger to the game show. He has appeared several times as a contestant on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and said he’s been a fan since high school.
