Baldwin took to the site on Tuesday to make negative comments left on the post that she said “ seemed to get out of control ” and “ fell into a place of body shame. ”
Baldwin said she has a sense of humor, but was concerned that some of the comments did not reflect the body inclusivity she hopes to see in society.
“Now, does it hurt my feelings when some people I don’t even know criticize why I should post a photo?” she said. ‘If I had looked different, would I have posted that photo? I really hope so.

Her side: Baldwin took to the site on Tuesday to make negative comments left on the post that she said “ seemed to get out of control ” and “ ended up in a place of body shaming ”
‘Because I love to look at pictures, support our bodies, our temple in which we live day and night – I love it. No matter what you look like, I love it. If you honor and celebrate yourself I love it. ‘
Baldwin spoke about what she thought was the crux of the insulting comments, saying, “There’s something like, ‘Oh, mothers don’t look like that’ – some mothers do. This mother is doing it. And I’m included in the inclusion … that’s what I look like, you know? I come from smaller people, I’ve been a fitness person all my life, and please. ‘
She wrote in the caption, “I am an advocate for body positivity and inclusivity … which, let’s not forget, encompasses everyone.”
Schumer later wrote, “I’m sorry!” to Baldwin after the unintended chain of events.
