The Colombian attacker, Roger Martínez, broke a drought of five months without scoring with the shirt of the America, and did so in the game against Bravos de Juárez on matchday 3 of Opening 2021 at the Azteca Stadium.
The attacker grabbed the ball and scored the second goal for the Eagles from outside the area, in the match in which he came in as a substitute in the second half, scoring his first goal of the year.
