Plus things from Apex Legends
It’s the beginning of the month! So it’s time for all the “free drop” services like Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus and Prime Gaming to bring the news of what’s to come.
For the latter, it will be another kind of quiet month for free games, with a variety of different “drops” (read: loot / microtransactions) for several other games. Bridge Constructor Playground is probably the highlight here for many people, but January’s list of free games also includes When ski lifts go wrong, Void Bastards, Alt Frequencies, and Along the edge.
As for the loot GTA Online is still kicking off monthly bonuses, including the Kosataka submarine’s sonar station, as well as’ a million in GTA cash every month. Prime Gaming says you just need to connect your account to Rockstar’s Social Club.
