Allison Janney says mom producers were shocked to learn that the star wore a wig throughout the show when she first revealed her short, silver locks to the team.
The actress, who recently ditched her long, fake locks for her natural hair, said she surprised her old colleagues when she showed up to film the sitcom’s eighth and final season with her new ‘do.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, the 61-year-old star said: ‘The producers see me like this and they say,’ What did you do ?! How are we going to do it …? You should have asked us before. you done this to your hair ?! “‘
The real me! Allison Janney revealed that her mother’s producer had no idea she was wearing a wig since day one of the show when she introduced her short, new locks to the team during the filming of the eighth and final season.
