According to preliminary information, the victims were attacked by alleged gang members in the area and died while being taken to Zacatecoluca Hospital.
A double murder was committed this Sunday afternoon on Los Blancos beach, located in San Luis La Herradura, La Paz department.
According to preliminary information from the police, two couples reached the beach and when they were about to leave, they were intercepted by alleged gang members. The two men were seriously injured, the two women were unharmed.

Rescue Commands reported that two victims died when they were transferred to Zacatecoluca Hospital.
So far, the identity of the deceased and the motive for the event are unknown.
The double murder is in addition to a string of violent deaths that have occurred in recent weeks. El Salvador ended 2020 with 1,322 murders, which equates to an average of 20 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
In 2019 there were 2,398 murders, 36 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
The gangs Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and Barrio 18, among others, have about 70,000 members in El Salvador, of which more than 17,000 are imprisoned, and are engaged in extortion, drug trafficking and other illegal activities.
