‘All clear’ given in two separate Walmart stores after bomb threats, police say

SAN ANTONIO According to San Antonio Police Department, two Walmart stores have been cleared of “everything off” after receiving bomb threats on Sunday night.

Walmart stores at 1430 Austin Highway and 2100 Southeast Loop 410 received the threats, officials said. From approximately 9:45 PM, the police said that customers and employees could re-enter both stores.

Police said the dispatch initially received two calls to their non-emergency number, stating that several explosives would detonate in both stores at any time.

Officers arrived at both Walmart locations, erected a perimeter, and all employees and customers were evacuated.

Bomb-sniffing dogs were also deployed at both stores to aid in the investigation.

Police say no explosives were found in either store and no injuries were reported.
