Popular Twitch streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon has announced that she is taking a break due to her health concerns. When she took to Twitter on December 20, the streamer revealed that she was sick and so “would be a little while less.” At the time, Alinity was committed to shorter and sporadic flows, but did not say what she was sick of.
“Yo guys. I’m pretty sick. Not nice things,” said the streamer. “I’ll be less for a while. Streams will be short and sporadic, I have to take care of my health. I love you guys very much and look forward to being around more when I’m better.”
Fast-forward to yesterday and Alinity announced that her hiatus escalated to a full hiatus not only from Twitch, but from social media as well. The streamer did not say whether the two tweets are related, making it unclear whether the period of absence is health-related. Alinity also does not announce when she will return.
“Hi friends, I need to take a break from streaming and social media,” said Alinity. “I’ll see you all when I get back.”

Again, it’s not 100 percent clear why Alinity is taking a break from Twitch and social media, but she’s not the only one to step away from both during the holiday season. Many other streamers have announced similar breaks, such as Pokimane.
