Jennifer Lopez sang at Joe Biden’s inauguration, and her fiancé – former MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez – had a great time with her.
Rodriguez documented his day on Instagram, which began with a video of his seat on the Capitol and a selfie in a suit that matched his former team’s uniform.
“Pinstripes for life,” wrote the former Yankee.
He then posted a photo of himself and J-Lo on the steps of the Capitol, captioned ‘2021’ with hearts and an emoji with an American flag.
A-Rod was caught on camera several times during the inauguration, and social media took pleasure in pointing out that it was strange to see him on stage at such a momentous occasion.
“At least once a year I put on a national event and a-rod will somehow just be there to fulfill its fate as a baseball bat for some reason,” wrote ESPN’s Joon Lee.
