Alex López shines with fantastic assistance in Alajuelense’s victory against Saprissa in the classic Tico – Diez

Alajuelense added another victory on Sunday after winning 3-1 in the classic against Saprissa for day 7 of Closing tournament of the Costa Ric first divisionto where the catrachor Alex López was the main character.

The Honduran was a starter in the squad that sent Andrés Carevic to Alejandro Morera Soto and did not disappoint by delivering an excellent performance. Not in the case of ex-Marathon Esteban Espíndola, who scored an own goal against Saprissa.

The purples advanced first on the scoreboard with a score by Daniel Colindres, but in the second half the story changed.

Espíndola made a foul in the area to 1–1 in the 49th minute. The game only started to move up to 81 again with a masterful assist in the outfield by Alex López for Marcel Hernández.

And last but not least, Jurgens Montenegror appeared in the 93 ‘to condemn the final score 3-1.

With this result, Alajuelense maintains his unbeaten lead with 15 points in the local league. Their next game will be against Greece on Wednesday, February 10.
