Alarms sounded early Thursday morning in Abu Qrenat near Dimona in southern Israel, the IDF spokesman reported. Residents across the country, including central Israel and Jerusalem, reported hearing “loud explosions” that “shook the houses.”
The explosion was caused by the launch of a Petriot missile from the Modi’in area, west of Ramallah, on an object in the sky pic.twitter.com/4YbL03AejC– Palestine Dialogue Network (@paldf) April 21, 2021
According to unconfirmed reports, the explosion was the result of a patriot battery reacting to a missile launched on Israel. The patriot was reportedly launched from near Dimona and intercepted a missile over the city of Modi’in. However, it is unclear at this point where the missile was launched from.
