The Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, ordered the immediate replacement of 37 agricultural technicians who were recently fired from this facility.
The decision was announced after an agreement was signed between the National Association of Agricultural Professionals (ANPA) and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The agreement is about the disposition of the ministry and union that brings together professionals and technicians to work together in a sustainable way for the benefit of the producers of the different areas of the field, a statement said.
ANPA Chairman Danilo Severino praised the genuine climate of work and resolution created by Minister Cruz in the institution, for which they are committed to maintaining and ensuring that climate of peace and harmony as a way of ensuring the country’s food security. .
He noted that with his good performance, the Minister of Agriculture has created harmony and work in the agricultural entity.
Present at the meeting were the Ministry’s Chief of Staff, Freddy Fernández; as well as representatives from the Dominican Association of Agricultural Engineers (ADIA); of the Veterinary Association and the College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA).
