Brandi Rhodes, AEW Chief Brand Officer and Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes, are expecting their first child. The pair made the announcement on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
A video was broadcast showing Brandi and Cody decorating their Christmas tree. They then found a wrapped present at their front door. The gift box contained a pair of baby shoes and an ornament announcing the birth of their child in 2021.
A cut-out camera revealed that the family’s dog, Pharaoh, was wearing a “Baby Security” bandana.
Brandi accompanied Cody to the ring along with Arn Anderson for his match against Angelico at tonight’s Dynamite. Cody was announced as ‘future father’ by ring announcer Justin Roberts.
Cody and Brandi got married in September 2013.
In addition to their roles as AEW executives and struggling accolades, the pair have branched out into other entertainment ventures.
Cody will serve as a judge on the upcoming Go-Big Show on TBS, which will air in January 2021. Brandi is a former cast member of the WAGS Atlanta show on the E! network.
