AEW Dynamite viewers and ratings for Brodie Lee Tribute

Wednesday night’s edition of AEW Dynamite included a show-long tribute to the late Jon Huber (Brodie Lee). According to a report by the Pro Wrestling Torchthe show drew 977,000 viewers on the evening, which was a big increase from what the show drew a week earlier (775,000). The number was also significantly higher than the number of viewers that WWE NXT drew directly to the USA Network (586,000). Due to the nature of the show, AEW was expected to dramatically win the audience battle.

In the coveted 18-49 age group, AEW Dynamite achieved a score of 0.40, which was higher than the 0.32 it aired last week. NXT scores 0.12 in this demo.

We typically rely on Showbuzz Daily for the official Nielsen ratings and ratings. However, due to the holidays, those numbers are postponed until Monday. however, the Torch is a reliable outlet for reviews and we have no reason to doubt their data here.

Dynamite was an intensely emotional show. You can see all the tributes broadcast by AEW employees in honor of Brodie Lee at this link.
