In a revealing exclusive interview with HOLA! USA, Adamari López breaks silence over her wedding plans with Toni Costa, which were postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In her conversation with the American publication, López referred to the reason that forced her to temporarily postpone her marriage to Costa: “ We had already started and are well on the planning stage, the pandemic came to end it, there’s one more opportunity after this pandemic is over, to shape it or get up at some point like Toni says and says, “Let’s go to court” and that’s it! ‘
As to whether she feels pressured to marry the Spanish dancer, the Puerto Rican television host replied, “This is a decision of the two of us. I think if we had let ourselves be carried away by the pressures of the media, we would have married a long time ago. Our life does not depend on what outside people say or what the press wants for us, our life depends on what we want for ourselves as a family, what we talk about and what we think is correct ”.
The star of ‘Un Nuevo Día’ emphasized that both she and her sentimental partner feel deeply involved in the consolidated relationship they maintain: ‘We are committed to working on the relationship every day, to respect each other, to love and details for each other, so that will be done if it must be done ”.
Costa, in turn, named the magazine HOLA USA! that they already had a date to celebrate their marriage. However, with the arrival of the Coronavirus, preparations had to be postponed: “We did have a date [para la boda] But the pandemic stopped everything like everyone else, but I’m sure there will be a new date, that celebration, everyone will know and they will stop asking because they always ask for it.
Adamari López and Toni Costa have been together for ten years after meeting at Univision’s “Mira Quien Baila” contest in 2011. The couple announced their engagement in January 2019.
The talented stars are the parents of a common daughter: Alaïa Costa López, born in March 2015, who came to strengthen the love affair they had until then.
In late January, the digital show “Chisme No Like” assured that Adamari López and Toni Costa were facing a “love crisis” due to the strong nature of the television presenter, something that would tire the Zumba instructor.
Javier Ceriani, host of ‘Chisme No Like’, announced at the time that the couple had stopped following on social networks, an action that would have amplified rumors of divorce. A short while later, Ceriani said that Costa and López had already followed each other on digital platforms.

In the past, López was married to Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi. The couple’s marriage bond was held in Puerto Rico in June 2006, and they made their divorce official through a November 2009 press release.
