Actor Dustin Diamond begins chemotherapy for cancer

The actor from “Saved by the Bell” (“Saved by the Bell”) Dustin Diamond started chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer, his representative reported.

Diamond, best known for his role as Screech in the original ’90s comedy series, was hospitalized in Florida earlier this month. Last week, his team revealed that he has cancer.

“Dustin has had his first course of chemotherapy and is planning the second. Physiotherapy will also start soon “said the actor’s spokesperson, Roger Paul, it’s a statement.

“Saved by the Bell” aired from 1989 to 1993 and gave way to the spin-off series “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class”, in which Diamond appeared. A sequel was released last year featuring many of the actors from the original cast, such as Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, pero no Diamond.

Diamond has faced several back tax lawsuits and foreclosure lawsuits for non-payment. He has appeared on reality shows, shot a pornographic video and produced a revealing documentary on Lifetime TV entitled “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story.” In 2015, he was sentenced to four months in prison for his role in a stabbing at a bar in Wisconsin.
