Activision promises to re-fix cheating in Warzone

It looks like Activision is finally taking an interest in Warzone hackers as the company makes another pledge to fix in-game cheating.

Call of Duty’s signature battle royale has more than its fair share of issues. However, the biggest problem with Warzone is the sheer number of hackers that appear to be present.

Lately, fans are discovering that at least one hacker is present in every pair of games, making it impossible to enjoy the experience.

What’s more, it looks like Warzone cheaters are on the rise, and very little is being done to stop them.

Cheating in Warzone will be fixed

According to a new Warzone Post of the Day, Battle Royale cheating will finally be resolved.

In a new post on the front page of Warzone, Infinity Ward and Activision are working aggressively to keep the game fun and fair.

This news comes after a Warzone streamer recently broke out a major tirade against Activision. However, it is not time to celebrate yet.

Some users point out that the post, which promises 24/7 security monitoring, and the review of all possible hacks, is actually a reposted MOTD.

The Cheaters Not Welcome statement first appeared in April 2020 – just one month after Warzone’s launch.

As we move into Warzone’s second year, the game has over 85 million players. And that seems to make the ‘50,000+ permabans so far ‘claim a little less encouraging.

After all, that only accounts for about 0.05% of the game’s total number of players. Plus, there’s now a new cheat that instantly unlocks everything in Warzone.

With this new buyable hack, banned players can pick up where they left off in no time.

Despite this post first appearing in April, Warzone still lacks solid anti-cheat software. And now that the Cold War has begun, the game faces similar issues.

In fact, so little is done to prevent users from cheating that some Cold War streamers openly brag about hacking.

Warzone players are not happy with Activision

Players promising more anti-cheat measures to come, while a new Pay to Win skin in Warzone is currently present seems a bit of a kick in the teeth. Fans of the game’s subreddit certainly don’t seem to be taking the message seriously.

“Bragging about 50k bans on an F2P game with this bad cheating problem is such a joke, the anti-cheat team should be ashamed,” said one user.

Other commentators point out that the concept of an anti-cheat team is probably not something that Warzone has implemented.

But it’s not just cheaters that plague Warzone right now. There’s a new nasty Warzone flaw that makes gear drops unreachable to begin with.

In addition, some users find that certain weapon sights are broken. Fortunately, there is a solution to fix Warzone’s broken weapon sights.
