A young Venezuelan woman reported that her boss drugged and sexually assaulted her after giving her a glass of water. The incident took place at a location in Paso 693 in the city of Buenos Aires. She was looking for a job and found an ad on Facebook, wrote and chatted with a man who identified himself as Santiago. The subject invited her to dinner on a Friday night to “talk about work,” but she declined and agreed to go to the interview on Saturday morning. After speaking, she was hired and started working the same day.
Later in the day he offered her a glass of water and she accepted. After drinking the water, she started to feel dizzy and sent a message to her sister, “I think the owner where I work has drugged me because I feel dizzy.”
The sister told the mother, who knew where the young woman was, because she asked her to send a photo and an address of the place. The mother notified the police, and officers from the 3A neighborhood police station of the city police went to the site, according to information from the Télam bureau.

Upon arrival, the agents found the store closed with the blinds down. The 35-year-old aggressor was arrested for the crime of “simple sexual abuse” and was in charge of Criminal and Correctional Court No. 15 with Judge Karina Zucconi, but was released despite the case going viral and other young women denouncing him by uploading messages asking the man suspicious questions.

“My daughter is very bad because they have given the man freedom. She is now receiving psychological help, ”said the young woman’s mother.
