It may only be three weeks out, but players are already doing some impressive things with Valheim’s build mechanics. A Star Wars fan has managed to build the Millennium Falcon, and while it can’t fly, it’s still quite spectacular.
The spacecraft comes from Colonel-James-Parker on Reddit, who posted a video of his Millennium Longboat, a massive in-game replica of Han Solo and Chewbacca’s iconic ship, crafted from wood and a serious dedication. The clip starts outside admiring Parker’s work on sheer aesthetics, and at first it seems like it’s just something to ogle, which would definitely make this already a cool thing to watch.
But then when we get to ground level, as Parker shows the scale of what he’s made, using a pair of carefully placed green flares for the Falcon’s rear thrusters, it’s going to be awe-inspiring. You can actually get into the Millennium Longboat through the ramp, just like in the movies, and inside is Parker’s packed, spacious living quarters, giving him plenty of room to practice his lightsaber skills, and the bridge, which Han and Chewie so often stared at a disaster. It’s really just a big window, a table and two chairs, but it’s instantly recognizable and enough to warm the heart of any fan from long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
