A tsunami of iPhone 13 leaks reveals new features and design changes – BGR

We’re probably about six months away from the iPhone 13 unveiling, but as has been the case repeatedly in recent years, Apple may not reveal much in September. Last Tuesday, alleged images of the iPhone 13’s glass front panel leaked online, and as expected, the sensor housing notch at the top of the screen finally got a much-anticipated makeover. As it turns out, this was just the beginning of this week’s iPhone leaks.

On Friday, EverythingApplePro shared on YouTube a new video full of iPhone 13 leaks from Max Weinbach, a writer at Android policeAccording to Weinbach, Apple will upgrade the audio experience over the iPhone 13 by improving noise cancellation and bringing clearer audio to the microphone with beamforming.

While the overall design of the iPhone 13 should mirror that of the iPhone 12 – complete with those flat bezels reintroduced for last year’s flagship – Weinbach’s sources claim that the rear camera is getting a new look on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Height The so-called “camera bump” will be lower this time, and that applies to both the individual lenses and the glass housing that envelops all lenses.

Fans of attractive colorways will be pleased to learn that Apple is also reportedly tweaking the graphite color option on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to make it a much darker black than what we saw on the iPhone 12 Pro models. It also has a matte finish instead of the previous generation’s glossy finish.

Apple is also testing an orange color for Pro models, but Weinbach says it probably won’t really work out. Finally, Apple improves the coating on the stainless steel frames to remove stains. This could help solve the annoying discoloration issue that some iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and iPhone SE users have noticed.

Moving on to software, Weinbach’s sources say a new optical image stabilization system on the iPhone 13 will automatically focus on the primary subjects of a scene and make any necessary adjustments to keep those subjects in the center of the shot. In addition, the portrait mode is updated and uses a new process that combines data from the camera lenses and the LiDAR sensor. The addition of LiDAR provides better edge detection, so that even “smaller holes in street signs” can now be detected by the iPhone 13 camera.

Weinbach’s latest leak concerns the iPhone 13 mini, which he says will be part of the iPhone lineup for 2021, despite the iPhone 12 mini being a failure for Apple. While the iPhone 13 mini will have a slightly larger battery, any real performance improvements will come from the A15 chip that Apple will bring to the entire series.
