Chrissy Teigen said it is “a shame” that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage is coming to an end, but vowed the reality star “gave her everything” to make it work.
The supermodel, who is a friend of Kardashian, said she spoke to the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star in the aftermath of the split.
“I have certainly had more than contact with Kim [my husband] John [Legend] has been in touch with Kanye, ” Teigen revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Everyone knows Kanye, it’s that he’s disappearing from the network,” Teigen added with a chuckle.
“It’s hard to ever contact Kanye, but Kim is doing well. I know Kim gave her everything for everything. “
The “Cravings” author, 35, said both Kardashian and West did their best to make the marriage last.
“To be honest, it’s a shame it didn’t work out because I saw they wanted every relationship,” said Teigen. “Really, but I know she did her best.”
On page six, it was exclusively revealed in January that the power couple’s marriage was broken. Kardashian officially filed for divorce from the “Jesus Walks” rapper in February, 43, in February.
Kardashian, 40, filed for joint legal and physical custody of their four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May.
The stars have entered into a prenuptial agreement and neither is reportedly interested in disputing it.
West’s bizarre 2020 presidential run was reportedly “the last straw” for the founder of KKW Beauty, although sources told Page Six that West was “tired of being involved in [the] Kardashians for a long time. Especially her mother [Kris Jenner], who comes to the fore in all the major decisions she makes. ”
