WWE has announced a $ 100,000 fine and indefinite suspension for Charlotte Flair following tonight’s RAW shutdown.
Tonight’s RAW ended with Flair destroying referee Eddie Orengo and returning to attack him multiple times. RAW’s main event featured Flair vs. Asuka as RAW women’s champion Rhea Ripley watched from ringside. Flair was about to beat Asuka when Ripley intervened from ringside. The distraction allowed Asuka to beat Flair out of the blue.
This then led to Flair arguing and attacking him until other officers came to order him to leave. It then kept coming back to do more damage until RAW went off the air.
It is not yet known when the suspension of the story will be lifted. Flair vs. Asuka vs. Ripley for the WrestleMania Backlash event on May 16, but it remains to be seen if that match will take place.
