A short story circulating online: Konami recently registered trademarks in Japan for both Castlevania and Metal Gear Rising. At first glance, we would assume that this is just the publisher renewing its properties. After all, the two trademarks have little to do with each other, but it keeps people talking anyway.
The trademark Metal Gear Rising is of particular interest given the sudden appearance of those Metal Gear related tweets, but thinking they are linked is probably a bit of a challenge.
