Russia decides to withdraw from ISS since 2025 after technical inspection – Science & Space

MOSCOW, April 18. / TASS /. Russia will conduct a technical inspection of the International Space Station and will make a decision to withdraw from the project since 2025 and will inform its foreign partners.

According to the government of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov, the time frame of the station’s operations has passed and its condition leaves much to be desired. “Recently, reports of technical malfunctions have become more frequent. In order to avoid possible risks in accidents, it is necessary to carry out a technical inspection of the station. After this, a decision must be made.”
