Star Wars fan recreates Knights of the Old Republic as a miniseries

A Star Wars fan at Unreal Cinemas is releasing a concept trailer for a possible Knights of the Old Republic miniseries based on the hit Star Wars RPG.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic can become a mini-series.

A devotee Star Wars fan of Unreal Cinema recreates the popular video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic as a mini-series. “I am currently working on making one Knights of the Old Republic -based Mini-Series using the virtual production capabilities of Unreal Engine, “reads the caption.” The first step is to create a trailer series as proof of concept before we start working on the full series. “

The concept trailer is a first look at the realistic 3D animation created by 3D artists Scott Anderson, Aden Martin, Matt Currie and 3D character designer AlexPo. The trailer showcases environmental and landscape designs for Korriban and other planets, as well as modeling and animation for Sith hunters. Most notably, the trailer also includes animation for the Ebon Hawk, as well as character and lightsaber design for Darth Revan.

Originally released in 2003, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is an RPG developed by BioWare that takes place 4,000 years before the formation of the Galactic Empire. The game allowed players to make choices that would affect their in-game experience and, most importantly, whether they would join the Light or Dark Side of the Force.

Knights of the Old Republic turns 20 in July 2023, and one fan even starts a petition on Change.org asking Disney and EA to develop a 20th anniversary remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for next generation consoles such as Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Recently, a new rumor suggested that a mystery studio was developing a remake for the game’s 20th anniversary, although those rumors have not been confirmed.
