The Royal Family strictly adhered to British Covid-19 regulations at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral and the Queen sat alone during the service to obey these restrictions.

The Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge sat opposite each other in St. George’s Chapel. William sat next to his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, while Prince Harry sat apart.

At the end of the service, and after the Queen left her state of Bentley, the rest of the royals walked back to Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry paid tribute to his grandfather on Monday, describing him as “a man of service, honor and great humor” after flying back to the United Kingdom from the United States prior to the funeral.

“He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp wit, and could hold the attention of any room because of his charm – and also because you never knew what he would say next,” said the Duke of Sussex in a statement posted to his Archewell Foundation. .

Prince Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage, where he followed the Covid-19 protocols after traveling from Los Angeles.
