Manny Manuel responded Friday to the situation that arose in the Caguas Court of First Instance on Thursday, when his failure to appear at a hearing on charges of violation of Law 22 led Judge Ricardo Marrero Guerrero to summon him to prove his absence. was justified, under penalty of contempt.

The lawyer Yamil Caro Pérez, legal representative of Cruz Manuel Hernández, Manny Manuel’s first name, presented in court the reasons why the singer did not appear in court. Despite Marrero Guerrero’s position, both prosecutors in the case told the press that the artist had shown that his negligence was “justified”.
