Lori LoughlinThe man is free to leave the house earlier than expected … it’s just one day, but it’s better than nothing.
Mossimo Giannulli was supposed to be released from house arrest on April 17, which is a Saturday, but it is customary to grant release on the last preceding weekday if their release date falls on a weekend.
So, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Lori’s husband was eligible to get out of prison Friday, April 16 … and that just happened.
As we reported … Mossimo was originally supposed to be locked behind bars until the 17th, but got it came on a few weeks early to serve the rest of his sentence at home.
Sure, he tried to get a much earlier release in January over concerns about COVID-19, but the judge shot himand claimed his concerns were not enough to justify it.
This happened about a month later Lori was released – just after Christmas – after serving for nearly 2 months for her role in the infamous college admissions scandal.
As you will remember … Lori pleaded guilty last May to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. She and Mossimo were charged with this Pay $ 500k in bribes to their daughters in USC and faking a photo making it look like the girls were college-quality rowers.
Mossimo pleaded guilty 1 count of conspiracy to commit fraud by e-mail and mail and 1 count of honest fraud by e-mail and mail. He was sentenced to 5 months, but like we said … it looks like he took a little break.
