Disneyland fans have been waiting for the park to reopen for over a year, and some had to wait even longer when ticket sales went live on Thursday.
People reported having to wait until nine hours to make a reservation for the California theme park, with some trying to book from multiple computer screens ahead of its reopening on April 30 after the park made its ticket sales and reservation system available Thursday morning.

Some avid park visitors woke up long before ticket sales went live at 8am PST and some were ready for reservations as early as 6am. residents of California. And it wasn’t long before users started complaining about unusually long wait times on social media.
“We haven’t even bought the tickets yet and I’m already in line,” a user tweeted in the park on Thursday.

Another user said they had waited nine hours to get tickets: “I’ve finally finished picking up my Disneyland tickets and reservations … 9 hours later,” the person tweeted.
Disneyland warned customers about the long waiting times, saying, “Due to high demand, this is taking longer than we expected,” on the reservation website.
