Outgoing members of the Court of Auditors lose their privileged jurisdiction

The judge of the special order of the Supreme Court, Margarita Garabito, must dispose of herself from the date of the file containing the investigation conducted by the prosecution against the outgoing members of the Court of Auditors.

This is because the outgoing members of the CC, Hugo Álvarez, Carlos, Noés Tejada Díaz, Margarita Melenciano Corporán, Félix Álvarez Rivera and Pedro Antonio Ortiz Hernández, are losing their privileged jurisdiction as the Senate of the Republic has appointed new incumbents. in that supervisory body of the state.

The magistrate arrived at the moment she was seized with the file, to issue a search warrant to the headquarters of the Court of Auditors and ordered the delivery of the interrogations to the lawyers.

What comes out now is that after the magistrate has fired, forwards the file to the coordinating judge of the National District Investigation Courts, Kenya Romera, so that she can authorize an investigating judge charged with giving continuity to that case.

With regard to the case, Pepca’s head, Wilson Camacho, refused to transfer the interrogations to the technical defense of the members of the Court of Auditors, who appealed to the Constitutional Court.
