The implosion of The Undisputed ERA has had a ripple effect on the entire NXT, but was probably most felt by Roderick Strong.
Back at TakeOver: Vengance Day, Adam Cole has superkicked Kyle O’Reilly and thrown everything into chaos. Strong tried to keep the peace, but O’Reilly didn’t want to hear about it and Cole, after teasing reconciliation, went ahead and turned Strong on as hard as he turned on O’Reilly.
This basically ended The Undisputed Era, or whatever was left of it.
Strong lost his way from there, got in there with Cameron Grimes for a moment, but quickly lost a match to him before saying he was “ done. ” But what did that mean?
We found out this week:
On commentary, Wade Barrett said he knew what it’s like to take time off and everyone wished Strong all the best with what comes next.
